MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has made significant inroads towards Latin pop. The hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu was winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song in the year 2017. The year after Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN as his debut full-length album. It reached the top 8 spot in the Top Latin Albums Chart. The following year, he collaborated with Ozuna to create Vaina Loca which climbed to the top of five on the Top Latin Albums chart. He dropped Dopamina, his chart-topping sophomore album the following year. Then, in 2021 He sang a duet 2021 along with TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo was brought up within a musical family, because both his mother and younger brother are musicians. In his interviews, he's described playing music as an obligation. When he was a kid was playing the ukulele and piano. Although his first choice of career was to become a veterinarian the brother Julian advised him to go for singing lessons with a Cuban teacher. The end outcome of discovering his talents in the field of singing changed his entire life.
