Rosalia
Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish to mean "Rosalia") is an Spanish Pop and Flamenco Singer. When she was a teenager she was involved both in traditional and popular music. But, her music interests have widened to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Pepe Habichuela is a flamenco guitarist of great talent, described her voice saying that it was sweet and had an old-fashioned bite. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough topping Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately receiving the Grammy. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd was released in 2021. Motomami came out as her third album that was full-length. It included collaborations with fellow artists and producers, including Cory Henry. It was released on March 20, 2022, in the wake of the live performance on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish artist to sing on her own on the program. As well as winning three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first woman to win the Latin Album of the Year twice.
