Christopher Robert Evans, born on June 13, 1981 is an American actor. His television career began with performances, such as Opposite Sext in the year 2000. He gained recognition for his role as the Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero, in Fantastic Four (2007) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans has appeared in numerous film adaptations of graphic novels and comics, such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and the World vs. the World (2009) and Snowpiercer (2013). The character of Steve Rogers/Captain America in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014, 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) in addition to Endgame in 2019 earned him even more recognition. The Marvel films helped him become one of the most highly paid Hollywood actors.
